BALLET RED (2yo) ran a fantastic race on her first trip to France finishing 2nd in a maiden race to a very nice horse of Andre Fabre’s called In Favour. This was Harry’s first runner at Le Croise-Laroche located just 70miles south of Calais. She had been bought at the German BBAG Yearling sale but is French Owner Premiums eligible and banked over 5,000 euros for her owners The Ascot 9.

British Racing Club had an exciting evening at Wolverhampton when their runner MISS GARGAR (2yo) looked for a moment like the winner and ended up 3rd at 100-1! She is a lovely filly who should give lots of fun over the winter.

PACT OF STEEL (3yo) continued to give his owners podium positions when finishing 2nd at Wolverhampton. LOOKINGFORCARL (3yo) came 3rd at Wolverhampton over 2m ½ f just losing out winning 50yds from the line. The Be Hopeful Partnership’s Showcasing colt CRANEUR (2yo) continued to build on his eye-catching run at Salisbury to finish 4th Kempton Park over 1m. They have been very patient with him allowing him to mature and hopefully this will be rewarded next season.

RIVERINA (2yo) a good-looking daughter of Derby winner Australia, finished 4th Bath over 1m2f. She appreciated the step up in distance and will only strengthen and improve over the winter.

The rain tried to squeeze through, but the sun fought back in time for the Parade of Horses to go ahead in beautiful Autumnal sunshine. It was wonderful to see so many past, present and future owners at the event. The team at Windsor House Stables turned the horses out to a very high standard and a massive thank you to them all for helping make the day run so smoothly. Both Knight to Behold and Robin of Navan enjoyed parading in front of an audience, both keen to show off their athletic skills! The newly purchased yearlings behaved very professionally and caught the eye of quite a few people. See below for more details. The bangers and bubbles washed down with red wine and sloe gin all contributed to a very successful day.
