December 2008 Newsletter

WANDERING MINSTRAL made his hurdling debut at Taunton. Supported by a strong contingent of the See You Then Partnership he ran a very encouraging race just getting tired at the end in the sticky ground.  He will now wait for some good ground for his next run.

DARK CAMELLIA ran an encouraging race at Kempton Park where she finished 3^rd beaten a short way and she is to have a winter campaign on the All Weather. The majority of the older horses have been turned away at grass or alternatively are having a quiet time at Windsor House Stables.

The yearlings have now been broken to ride and are cantering. I am delighted with their progress.

YEARLINGS FOR SALE

Dr Fong – Macina                   bay gelding bought at the Doncaster St Leger sale – for sale as a whole or can be syndicated

Tobougg – Distant Music        bay filly bought at Tattersalls Book 2 sale – 1/3         share left

Piccolo –American Rouge      chesnut filly bought at the Doncaster Festival sale - an all girls partnership at £500 per share for the 2009 season

CHRISTMAS BOX

It is a racing tradition that every Christmas a collection is made for the members of staff who have worked so hard all year in whatever the weather. Many people were very generous last year. If you would like to make a donation towards it (£10-£20 is a guideline) then please make cheques payable to Harry Dunlop Racing and send to the office address.
