Fred Packard
We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden death of one of our original owners Fred Packard. Fred raced under the banner Tessona Racing and was a huge supporter of young people. He was always on hand to offer encouragement and advice as well as being ready to listen to new ideas. As an owner he had success at Grp1 level with his first ever horse in training called Sharpo and also was a trustee of the
Here Come the Boys
After the success and demand for the Here Come the Girls partnership, Christina has set up an exclusive men only racing partnership called Here Come the Boys! There are 40 shares available at £500 each, which is all inclusive for the 2009 season. The horse is a 2yo unnamed Dr Fong out of Macina bay gelding bred by the late Klaus Jacobs at Newsells Stud. For further information please contact Christina on 07968 830 443.
New Hack
Tweenhills Racing has loaned Harry a new hack called COLISAY. Some of you may remember him when trained on the flat by Amanda Perrett. He was 2nd to Notnowcato and rated 105. He then went to Venetia Williams where he ran 3 times over hurdles winning once before being retired in 2008 due to leg trouble. He has proved to be very adaptable and is used to lead the 2yos, school with the jumpers, stand & watch work, catch loose ones and has made his debut in the hunting field.
Bug
Harry’s old coloured hack, Bug, is now 16yrs and it has been decided that he deserves a happy retirement home. His owner Alex Scrope is looking for a loan home for this American Quarter horse who is a delightful character and warrants a five star home. If you are interested please do contact Sarah in the office on 01488 73584 or Harry 07880 791 895.
