The month of May took the stables on a roller coaster ride of emotions. Harry managed to bring FESTOSO back to her very best after being plagued by injury following her very successful 2yo career when winning the Listed race at Haydock which many of you watched on Channel 4. It was a very special and emotional moment for the team here at Windsor House Stables and special recognition must go to Phil Wright, our Head Lad who not only swims her every day but also acts as her nanny when out in the string running alongside her. A big thank you to all of you who sent such kind congratulatory messages.
Sadly you will now have read in the national papers that our Oaks hope THREE MOONS had to be scratched from the race due to an injury incurred during her final preparation. It was a heartbreaking moment for everyone involved especially as she had sparkled in her previous piece of work. Hopefully she will be back later in the season for a late Summer/Autumn campaign.
