Behind every successful trainer is a dedicated team of people and it is no different at Windsor House Stables. Led by Phil Wright the staff consistently turnout their horses to an incredibly high standard. It is important everyone works as a team player.

Phil Wright
Phil spent 19yrs with Nick Gaselee culminating as Traveling Head Lad. On Mr Gaselee's retirement he joined Ralph Beckett as Head Lad before starting with Harry on day one of setting up training. Phil enjoys extreme challenges including running The Ridgeway in 24hrs for charity!

Anna Wotton
Anna is our youngest member of staff who gained most of her riding experience on the pony racing circuit in Devon. She has a talent for being able to sleep anywhere which is very useful when travelling horse’s long distance to France!

Alla Bakash
Alla comes from India and has been in England previously with Pat Eddrey and Andrew Balding. His favourite horse is Red Tornado. He has a weakness for Lemon Cake!

Phil Donnelly
Phil is our senior member of staff having been in racing since he was 16yrs.In his younger days he was a jockey and now regularly rides work. He is an avid support of Wolverhampton.

Gary Watts
Gary has been in racing all his life. His favourite horse that he owned and trained himself was Carpet Canyon.

Christina Dunlop 07968 830 443 Wife of Harry and mother of Tom & William, Christina assists in the office and travels horses abroad. She also breds prizewinning Berkshire Pigs!

Damien Russell

Damien has been working in racing most of his life and lives in Lambourn. He enjoys working with the horses that need a touch of tlc and is especially good at spending a bit more time with a horse to gain its trust. 

 

Colum Haynes

Colum has a young family and also lives in Lambourn. In Ireland he rode under rules and is a key work rider. He is particularly good with the overly keen horses.

 

Barbara Steinova

Barbara is from Czech and worked for David Lanigan for two years before joining the team here at Windsor House Stables. She adores all her horses and turns them out to a high standard.

Christine is in charge of all the finances. She is always at the end of the phone ready to help any owner with a query. 

Andy Lindsay

Andy brings with him a wealth of knowledge having previously been headman to Tom Dascombe. He lives in the village with his family and is a great asset of the team.

 
 

Pat Kennedy - Travelling Head Man

Pat spent many years with Clive Cox before tranfering to Richard Hughes. He has now joined Harry Dunlop Racing as Travelling Head Man. A crucial front of house job which he does very well. He also is a very experienced work rider.

Formally O'Gorman, Slater & Maine, Harry has used Donnington Grove vets since he first started training. They are based in Newbury with first class operational & diagnostic services. Vets reguarly used inc head surgon Bruce Bladon, vets Alastair Welch, David Mathieson and Charlie Schreiber.

Sarah is first point of call in the office laising with Harry over entries & declarations, BHA & Weaterbys administration, staff HR and more. She is a keen dressage rider and has a Rhodesian Ridgeback dog called Romeo.

Feeding the correct food is vital to maximising a racechorse's performance. Polly has worked with Harry since the beginning costantly reavaluating which feeds work and which may need to be tweaked.

 

Chapel Forge Farriers- The Farrier
An essential member of the team is the farrier. Head farrier Gary Pickford overseas any unusal shoeing requirements and Moses and Ginger are in everyday ensuring all the horses feet are in tip top condition.

 

Chris Vitler

Chris runs a freelance horse transport company and is called in when needed.
